Yes, I finally made it back! Sorry about the delays, between computer problems and moving, I've been busy and haven't had time to update anything here. But I'M BACK! With only a couple updates, but REAL nice ones.
I've been tied up with the MySpace thing. I just love it! You can check out my page there and get yourself one too. Squared Circle Wrestling is the BEST independent wrestling federation I have came across is YEARS! Go check out heir website and just browse through their videos and you will see what I mean. I'm fortunate to get to see them almost on a monthly basis, and they haven't disappointed me yet. As a wrestling fan, or fanatic, 2CW is great stuff!

Classic Freddy Blassie Recording!

I have come across a RARE record album, (picturedisc even!) of the late great, Freddy Blassie. After doing some checking, the copyright laws have expired on it, and I am able to release it. If you're a Blassie or wrestling fan, the recording's are priceless, as it's Fred at his best. WARNING!!! Might not be suitable for children under 16, it's pretty raunchy in spots. AS SOON as I find a host for MP3 files, I will have them all available for download. Keep checking back.

What the hell is the WNAWF??
The WNAWF was a concept, a dream if you will. Back deep into my childhood I dreamt of a wrestling federation that would allow ALL talent to intertwine. In the days of territories, promoters screwed professional wrestlers and ruined their careers by treating them like meat instead of talent. Every circuit had their own federations, their own stars and many a wrestling fan missed out because they didn't live in that region. With the WNAWF, all had a place to come and showcase themselves. There was no politics, no hidden agendas, no hostile takeovers. Vince McMahon Jr. was an announcer, and that's it.

Why another wrestling site?? Simple. There's a history and connection I feel with professional wrestling. Giving due to those great men that I have vicariously lived through for over thirty years. I want fans to remember the good old days, the legends who paved the way and the many who might have been forgotten. I have experience, knowledge and fond memories of the stars of yesteryear, as well as the boys who work in rings all over this world this very day. I have defended my sport for years, and in the end, the last thing about these men's determination, showmanship and dedication is it being "fake".
Kayfabe is a word used alot here, because I can't let it go. Wrestling was better then, when it seemed real, and it was kept to be viewed that way. Although true fans knew it was predetermined, no one ever questioned the work that went into a good match. Wrestlers have to be actors, athletes and most of all, driven. Only the few who love it, live it and be it stick around. Here at the WNAWF, we honor those who have risked life and limb to simply entertain us.
