 The award in George "The Animal" STeele's hand was an award my brother Paul and I designed and made. I presented the award to George at the 2006 PWHF Induction weekend. I got he idea after speaking with George the year before and explained how appreciative I was for all his years of service. I called it the "Fans Appreciation Award" and even gave him a little write up about how and why the award came about. To see the write up Click Here Here's the kicker!! George loved the award, but asked me if he could donate it to the hall of fame. I was FLOORED! My wildest dream to be a part of wrestling history was finally realized. Though the award is for George, a little piece of me is on display in the Hall of Fame as well. George was definitely was one of the nicest wrestlers I have ever met, and I have seen him wrestle as well at events like that one.
